Designed for all fitness levels, this low-impact, high-energy water exercise class combines cardio, strength, and flexibility training. Utilizing the natural resistance of water, Aqua Fit helps improve cardiovascular health, build muscle strength, and enhance flexibility while reducing joint stress. Join us for a refreshing and effective workout that will leave you feeling energized and revitalized!

Using hand weights and body weight, we will strengthen all our major muscle groups.

Strength training improves physical functioning, optimizes sports performance, reduces risk of injury and falls, helps maintain a healthy body weight, decreases cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure, and improves glucose metabolism. And that’s just the short list!

This class is for anyone 65+ who wants to maintain strength, flexibility, and balance as they age. We will include a variety of body weight exercises as well as use props like chairs, resistance bands, and yoga belts to add levels of challenge and support to the exercises. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels and modifications will be provided as needed.
